광주외국인학교 내국인 입학 자격 완화 안내
해외거주 경험이 없는 한국 국적 학생도 광주국제외국인학교(GIS)에 지원할 수 있게 되었습니다.
최근 「연구개발특구의 육성에 관한 특별법」 개정에 따른 조례 제정으로, 기존 3년이었던 내국인의 외국거주 요건이 완전히 폐지되어, 해외 거주 이력이 없는 한국인 학생도 GIS에 입학이 가능하게 되었습니다.
이로써 GIS는 국제교육을 원하는 한국 가정에게도 문을 열게 되었습니다.

Change in Eligibility for Korean Nationals at GIS
We’re excited to share a major update that opens new doors for globally-minded Korean families seeking world-class international education right here in Gwangju.
Recent legislation under the 「Special Act on Promotion of Special Research and Development Zones」 has removed the long-standing requirement that Korean applicants must have lived overseas for three years. This change means that Korean students can now apply to Gwangju International School with zero years of overseas living experience.
